Jetpack Distribution Bolsters Animation Slate Acquiring Indian Toon Mighty Little Bheem for MIPCOM 2020

Ahead of MIPCOM 2020, Jetpack is further strengthening its animation catalogue with the quirky pre-school non-dialogue animated series comprising of season 1 (21 x 5.5 minutes), season 2 (28 x 5.5 minutes) and special episodes (3 x 6 minutes).
The deal sees Jetpack acquire rights for pay TV, free-to-air, catch-up and in-flight platforms globally.
Mighty Little Bheem is India’s first Netflix original animation and was released in 190 countries in 2019. More than 27 million households streamed the series worldwide in 2019, making it one of the best performing pre-school shows worldwide. It was also the top pre-school show on Netflix in the USA in 2019 and achieved a record-breaking 1.5 billion views on YouTube; and was the most watched video on the official Netflix kids and family YouTube channel.
Mighty Little Bheem is the international spin off of India’s most beloved animated character, Chhota Bheem. It follows the adventures of toddler Bheem, whose boundless curiosity – and extraordinary might – lead to mischief and adventure in his Indian town Dholakpur. He travels across Dholakpur making friends with everyone he meets in search of his favourite treat ladoos (an Indian sweet).
